YOOSELL – REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, refunds and subscription terminations are handled by YooSell Group Ltd trading as YooSell (“YooSell”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
1.2 This Policy applies alongside
- YooSell Website Terms & Conditions;
- Seller Listing Agreement;
- Subscription Terms;
- Promotional Offer Terms & Conditions; and
- any applicable service-specific terms.
2. SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATION
2.1 Customers may cancel their subscription at any time through
- their YooSell account settings; or
- written notice to YooSell.
2.2 Cancellation prevents future subscription renewals only.
2.3 Cancelling a subscription does not normally
- remove existing charges;
- reverse payments already taken; or
- entitle the customer to a refund for the current billing period.
2.4 Listings may remain live until the end of the current subscription period unless otherwise stated.
3. AUTOMATIC RENEWAL
3.1 YooSell subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
3.2 By purchasing a subscription or activating a promotional offer, customers authorise recurring payments using the payment method provided.
3.3 It is the customer’s responsibility to
- monitor renewal dates;
- manage subscriptions; and
- cancel prior to renewal if they do not wish to continue.
3.4 Failure to cancel before renewal will result in automatic billing for the next subscription period.
4. REFUNDS
4.1 Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable once
- a listing is published;
- marketing services commence;
- portal advertising begins; or
- digital services are activated.
4.2 YooSell does not normally provide refunds for
- unused subscription periods;
- change of mind;
- failure to sell a property;
- lack of enquiries;
- failure to use the Platform;
- failure to cancel before renewal; or
- dissatisfaction with market conditions.
4.3 Refund requests may be considered at YooSell’s discretion in exceptional circumstances.
5. FREE TRIALS & PROMOTIONAL OFFERS
5.1 Promotional offers may be subject to separate Promotional Offer Terms & Conditions.
5.2 Where a free trial applies
- payment details must still be provided;
- subscriptions automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before renewal; and
- no refunds will normally be issued for failure to cancel before renewal.
6. CONSUMER CANCELLATION RIGHTS
6.1 Where the customer is a consumer, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 may provide a 14-day cooling-off period.
6.2 By requesting immediate publication of a listing or activation of services during this period, the customer
- expressly requests immediate commencement of digital services; and
- acknowledges that cancellation rights may be lost once services begin.
6.3 Services are deemed to commence once
- listings are published;
- portal advertising begins;
- digital marketing activates; or
- advertising goes live.
6.4 Where cancellation rights apply, YooSell may deduct an amount reflecting services already provided before cancellation.
7. FAILED PAYMENTS
7.1 If payment fails, YooSell may
- suspend listings;
- suspend accounts;
- remove advertising; or
- terminate services.
7.2 Customers remain liable for outstanding charges accrued prior to cancellation or suspension.
8. CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES
8.1 Customers should contact YooSell before initiating chargebacks or payment disputes.
8.2 YooSell reserves the right to
- dispute unjustified chargebacks;
- suspend accounts; or
- recover outstanding sums and associated costs.
8.3 Fraudulent or abusive chargeback activity may result in permanent account suspension.
9. TERMINATION BY YOOSELL
9.1 YooSell may suspend or terminate services immediately where
- fraud is suspected;
- misleading information is uploaded;
- platform misuse occurs;
- payments fail; or
- YooSell policies are breached.
9.2 Termination by YooSell does not automatically entitle the customer to refunds.
10. NO GUARANTEE
10.1 YooSell does not guarantee
- property sales;
- buyer enquiries;
- portal publication;
- marketing performance; or
- transaction completion.
10.2 YooSell provides a self-service property advertising platform only.
11. POLICY CHANGES
11.1 YooSell reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time.
11.2 Updated versions will take effect once published on the Platform.
12. GOVERNING LAW
12.1 This Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
12.2 The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to this Policy.
